Well my roommate and got a irc server running for the time being. Come hang out if you like...

EDIT: Ok I am not too bright on the IRC stuff, how do I get on there, I am using mIRC, is that the right thing or am I just an idiot. Anyway I added a new IRC Server: irc.driftkids.com, and port: 6667. It says unable to connec when I try, is there anythign I am supposed to change?

Hey I think that there may be some thing wrong with your DNS. I can't resolve irc, www or even a default A record. From ns1.driftkids.com no less (listed as your name server). I also looked in a few DNS cache servers of some major ISP's and those records do not seem to have propagated. Your server might be denying requests for your domaine info, as dig nslookup and zone cat attempts by me were all refused. Or if you are shadowing DNS to a up stream provider their record is absent from the root servers.

however I made a channel in dalnet (where there's tons of ppl) called:
#240sx-Enthusiasts

stop by if you want, I'm getting bots going as I type this... not to rain on your parade sil80, I just htought it would be easier to get to on dalnet, plus ppl would stumble on it by chance rather than having to already know where to look.

I dont know much about it but all I did was download mIRC then do all that setup crap. Pick a nickname, I suggest using ur Zilvia name. Then choose Random US DalNet server (sumin like that), at the top menu. Then go ok or connect or sumin. Then clikc the little lightning bolt that looks like the S. Then click the 3rd icon from the left. Then put "#240sx-Enthusiasts" in the little thing and go join, or juss click add and put "#240sx-Enthusiasts" and add. Then join the channel and sumone with an @ sign next to thier name should be thier. I wil prolly be in there for an hour, then I got work.

Hopefully sum1 can give a better explanation cuz I don't know what i am talking about.
