in a course of a few days i noticed my car starting to over slower n slower then nothing no clicks or anything ... i thought first my battery was dead ... did the voltage test n took it down to autozone and it checks out fine. checked out all my wiring and even tired jumping it ... nothing at all ...

... the night it quit on me i was on a slight slope so it was easy for me to pop start it ... that worked just fine and no weakness battery wize so i know my battery n alturnator r still doing the proper job ...

and just to say before all this the car was running great ...

am i looking at a burnout starter or is there something else i should be looking for ???

That would be my first guess.

You can take the starter up to Autozone for them to test, I believe.

I know at Pep Boys they can test it for you definitely.

if the battery is ok, and the wiring to the starter is ok, and you can push start it, then yes its most likely the starter

if it's not your starter, bypass the relay behind the battery and see if that works. seen that relay die on about 4 or 5 S13's now.....

it's not an SR/KA thing, it's a body harness relay.

It's a large blue relay that has two plugs that go into it on the bottom VS the standard one plug like a normal relay.

it's on the inner fender well, behind the stock battery location. if you have an S13, go look, you'll see it. sometimes it'll fall through the holes around there but you'll find it.

i'm not sure if nissan wised up on the S14. you'll have to check. i don't remember them having that issue.

as far as checking it, look at the top of the relay in relation to the plugs that it goes in to. there will be a diagram of what is inside the relay. one side will be a coil, the other will be a switch. the way it's drawn on top of the relay is directly the way the plugs/wires are. so the side that has a switch (broken line, looks like --/ -- ish), jump the wires from plug to plug with a wire. you can make a simple jumper wire with speaker connectors (flat type).
