What does Ob1 have to do with the transmission? The tranny from the s13 and s14 are the same. Just different bell housings.

The difference of the bellhousing includes a CAS in the S14 which you need for the swap. S14 clutch pedal will fit better although they both work with a little effort... I'm in the same boat looking for deals on this stuff. You also need an obdII tcm i believe it is, so that you don't throw a code
Correct me if I'm wrong but that's all I know

The onlything I see your missing is the engine backing plate for an MT... and brake pedal, unless you plan on cutting yours... while your there change your rear main seal as well...

This is the itemised list of everything I used... used all new parts except the trans....

1 Clutch Master Cylinder
2 Clutch M/S Nuts
1 Hard Line Insulator
1 Clutch Hard Line
1 Hard Line Connector Block
2 Connector Block Bolts
1 Clutch Slave Cylinder
2 Slave Cyliner Bolts
1 Clutch Pedal Assembly
1 Clutch Spring Return
1 Clutch Pedal Clevis Pin
1 Bolt
1 Fulcrum Pin w/ Assit Bracket
1 Stopper Rubber
1 Bolt
1 Bolt
2 Bolt
1 Pedal Bushing
2 Pedal Bushing
1 Bolt
1 Bolt
1 Clutch Bracket Assembly
1 Brake Pedal Assembly
1 Brake Pedal Clevis Pin
1 Bolt
1 Engine Plate Rear
4 Trans Bolt!
1 Trans Bolt1
1 NISMO Steel Clutch Line
1 Speed Sensor In Trans
1 Speed Sensor Pinion
1 Speed Sensor Pinoin Lock
1 Speed Sensor Bolt
1 Transmission mount
1 Transmission mount member

When buying the clutch pedal new you need to get all the parts individually and put the damn thing together... thats what alot of the list is...

There is no TCM in S13 or S14 chassis.

The ECU does not need to swapped, the auto one works fine. You'll throw a code regardless unless you take the time add the neutral and 5th position switches as well as reconfigure the TPS, and then use a manual ECU for the particular year.

Is there any way to get around the CAS on an s14? Being that my auto tranny has that CAS sensor but my manual tranny doesnt. So how do I go about putting it in?

you don't even really need the cas on the tranny, at least i don't notice a runnability issue with it unplugged. Anyways pretty much everything between s13 and s14 are interchangable except....

Speed Sensor
Driveshaft
Clutch Line (hard)

drill a hole in the top of the bellhousing and pop it in.
j/k. don't do that. unless ur hard like a spartan

if you really care, swap the front bellhousing. or just get a s14 5spd. otherwise leave it out

Well thought about drilling the hole lol but i cant see how that would help haha. Sensor does not have the adequate space for sensing anything. Anyways the main problem im having, is the car wont crank.

I jumped the plug next to the fuse box (at the top) and plugged the 2 wires together. At the very least I should be getting a crank no? well im not. It dont even click. So where is my problem?

The plug you have to jump is tucked underneath the fuse box IIRC. One of the wires is black/yellow... don't remember the other one.

Double check and make sure you jumped the right plug.

hmmm well on my S14 its located at the top of the 4 connectors that would come off the tranny. Basically its a Black/yellow, and a Black/white 2 wire connector. I just plugged in its counter half and jumped the pig tails.

I figure once having done that it should crank but NO!

Maybe I connected my starter wrong?
