I cut the brown wire a long time ago and that worked fine. I took my car to a shop and got a bunch of wiring redone and now the sleepy eyes dont work. When I reconnect the brown wires, the lights go up and down as they should, but when they are separated again, I get nothing. Any idea of how to get the sleepy eyes back or another easy way to do it without the fuse and toggle switch thing?

I am ashamed to say I am from NC after this post. Not really, but yeah, what do you mean they dont work after you cut the brown? Do they still retract and work normally when the brown is cut?

They used to work like normal sleepy eyes with the brown cut. Now, when the brown is cut and separated, nothing happens. When I reconnect the brown wires together, they go up and down like normal. I dont know why the sleepy eyes dont work anymore. Just trying to find another "ghetto" way to do it.

Ok, lets try this. The brown wire brings them up and les them down. Cut the brown wire while they are up. Pop the hood, and take the cover off where you can manually adjust them. Adjust each setting to your preference, add caps back on, close hood and your set.

yeah, I thought about that, but I just dont wanna have to go through that much hasstle every time I go out. Cause when I turn my headlights on, it will reset them to either full open or closed. I am trying to find a new way to get the sleepy eyes as easy as the brown wire method.

Why did you have someone re-wire them? haha, sounds like my old hatch when someone re-wired the whole rearend. By chance you own a black S13 hatch with gold rims? haha.
Pull the fuses for them in the engine bay. If that doesnt work, cut all wires to the HL motors. Its not that hard man. Kill the power to them and then adjust them.
I believe all the answers are in this or my last post.

haha...no I dont drive a black one. I have a red s13. I got a new wiring harness and a lot of wiring cleaned up in the engine bay. I guess they did something to make them not work any more. I cant cut all the wires though cause I still need them to be functional at night.

Find out what they fixed, then go back in and fuck it up. Pretty simple if you think about it.
