I decided to start this thread to see how many people actually have real racing experience on a competitive level. Figured it would be a interesting way to see who is really into motorsports in general and who is just into tuning/imports. Here is my experience.
When i was younger i raced karts at a national level. 3 championships, finished 3rd out of over 50 in a WKA series. Over 30wins. Mostly Dirt and asphalt oval but also raced a bit of SCCA events.
Raced R/C at a national level. Many sponsorships. I raced 4-cell stock, 4-cell 19turn and 4-cell mod in oval. And Mod expert touring, Mod Expert 1/12 GTP, and some stock touring. Won quite a bit.
Small block dirt modified on the east coast, DIRT series competitor, won a little, still looking for a ride this season.
Very little drag experience, ran my uncles 71 RS camaro, 454 Blower motor, going in a straight line isn't too bad, but i prefer my road courses and ovals.
Then i starting drifting about 2 years ago. I saw it and just had to get involved. It is just like racing on dirt for the most part so i knew it was for me.
BTW I just turned 20.
So whats your experience in motorsports?
