I emailed Ian from lost projects about 2 weeks ago. he told me that he would give me a refund because he couldn't get tein parts from his distributor anymore. I dont want to be self righteous or anything, but these are my 3 rules for buying...

1. Dont buy anything from anyone without a reputation
2. Go with your gut instinct.
3. If its too good to be true, then it fucking isnt.

I once bidded on some rims on ebay, won them with tires, brand new 17x7s shipped for $600 bucks. &nbsp;I knew it was too good to be true, and turned out the guy had multiple fake names, and was scamming on yahoo, ebay and just about every other site. &nbsp;Ebay, to this day, has never contacted anyone with any information on reporting a claim on this guy and has deleted submissions in his feedback profile, even though the guy is now detained.

He starts up a meet in FL and does not go. I started the other forum and he still has yet to reply. Honestly rockout is a friend of mine and i have a free ticket i would pay this guy a visit with 2 officers behind me and arrest him.

Good job to those who filled out the FBI forms, please also call the local miami police or your local police, this guy needs to get a tail on him. I have his personal address, but i'm on the west coast or i would be throwing bricks through his car, or pretty much his car would be a lost project

C'mon Ian, this is some serious stuff. Alot of us have filed these complaints and it isn't going to go away until we get what we paid for or get our money back. Your dealing with a large amount if money here and all we want is for everything to be resolved but your not responding to anyone. I keep giving you the benifit of the doubt but I'm about out of patience. If you don't have the money or can't get the parts, just say so and stop stringing everyone along. I'd reather know that I'm not geeting my parts than think they'll be here any day.

Ack I told people to PM or e-mail me if they had problems with this. I haven't been on the boards much at all lately so I haven't been able to help out at all. Unfortunately with the last guy that I tried to help (sorry I can't remember the name, there have been lots of you) Ian would not respond to anything I did. I IMed him, e-mailed him and called him but got no responses ever. Eventually that guy said that Ian got in touch with him though so maybe it did some good to bug him repeatedly. I never heard if he ever got his refund or not.

Please though do not associate me with Ian, I just tried to give everyone what I thought was a good deal through him and he did not deliver. I'm just as upset about this as everyone else, he ruined my reputation here on zilvia and for that I will never forgive him. At least he will never do business with the 240 community again.

I have done everything in my power to help those people that didn't get their product, or refunds, but there's only so much I can do. That's a hell of a lot more than I can say for you. I remember you saying that you didn't tell us of his past mishaps because we never asked, WHY SHOULD WE HAVE TO ASK?!

If anything it's more your fault than mine because you could have told us about what he had done in the past, but you just sat on your ass and watched it all happen so you could say "I told you so." I would have expected more from a senior member, but obviously I expect too much out of people.

I'm with you Rockout. It's funny how the people who lost their money are the ones who are being patient, meanwhile we have people who have no part in this, threatening the guy. I have no doubt that Ian is legitimate, something just got screwed up along the way. Who knows, maybe his distributors are the ones who were screwing him. But I'm confident that if I'm patient and don't start harassing the guy who has already said he would get my money back then I WILL get my money back. So lets everyone (i.e. the people who haven't lost anything) get over it and as we (i.e. the people who have lost something) hear something, we will let everyone know.


P.S. Don't rely on paypal too much. 30 days after you complete your transaction, they virtually wash their hands of you, no exceptions, not even the fact that the product wasn't even supposed to arrive for 30 days. Your taking a chance with anything you have to pre-pay for.
