ok, so im leaving tommorrow for my cross country trip, is there anything special that i should do to my car since its going to be sitting for three weeks, i was jsut going to have my mom start it, should i disconnect the batteries. Also, what better, a full tank of gas or an empty one....thanks

Having your Mom start it hear and there is a good choice. As for disconnecting your battery, it might be a hassle for your mom to connect it every time she has to start it. It should be fine as long as your Mom starts the car once a week for about 7min or more. The battery should recharge during the startups.

three weeks is nothing. she doesn't need to do ANYTHING to it. park it, leave it, come back and drive it. no problem. it's only 21 days, not 21 months.

My friend had a 97 mustang cobra sitting in his shop all winter long. Around april, he hooked the battery back up, put some air in the tires and drove it right out of the shop. No worries, it's only 3 weeks.
