What's up guys, Ive been lurking around on here for a while. I
just wanted to give you all a sneak peak at one of the projects Ive been working on. You're all car guys, and this is a show dedicated to the stuff we love, so hopefully you guys like it.

This is a pilot for a show called Blood, Sweat and Gears. Me and my co-host Dan Mermelstein (owner of Vivid Racing) will be traveling all across the US and maybe even internationally following celebrity racers, hardcore tuning enthusiasts and shops as they go through all their last minute preparations for their respective events. For our first episode we hooked up with skateboarding god Bucky Lasek and followed him around at Willow Springs as he went through the training for the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach celebrity race. We met up with all the racers including George Lucas, Dave Mirra, Kelly Hu, Aisha Tyler and a bunch more as they practiced in the scorching desert heat at Willow Springs.

We'll be down in Long Beach next weekend to cover the actual race and bring you some really sick coverage, so stay tuned. Right now the show is being pitched to a bunch of different networks including Fox Sports Net, Fuel TV and TLC. A lot of our footage will be seen on Fuel TV already, hopefully the series will find it's home there!

Sometimes I sit there and I think about some of the people I went to high school. You hear about them and theyre stuck in some dead end job, theyve got a wife that hates them, kids that think they're a joke. I wonder if theyve ever stepped back and said to themselves, "Bob, dont take that job!" or "Bob, dont marry that girl!" ?? My point is, we're out here in the middle of the desert chilling with the likes of George Lucas, Bucky Lasek, Dave Mirra and abunch of other celebrities at the top of their respective games, putting cameras in cars, interviewing people, drinking Red Bulls like water, and doing
what we really love. One of these days Im going to have to sit down and re-evaluate my decision making paradigm but until then, I love this shit!!!

Yeah, Im not getting paid to do this project. Im producing the pilot with money out of my pocket, but luckily I do get paid for the other stuff I am involved in.

If the show gets picked up for our next episode we would hook up with Travis Pastrana and the DC shoes guys and do some rallying!

wow man i gotta say that shit is pretty sick man i love to see someone livin out their dream....honesly i want to know how you got involved in a project like this...id love to get involved with something like this,howd you get set everything up with the guys from vividracing and arrange to meet celebrities? Looks like a great show so id love to know about production, pitching it to networks all that....and if you ever need help on this let me kno lol id fly out to the west coast for somethin like that...seriously...hahah wishful thinkin i kno:loco: but GL hope u guys make it on the air

Yes very. That was on St Patty's day after Dave Mirra forced what felt like about 28 shots of Jager down my hatch. I thought that rehydrating with Gatorade would be a good idea since I was going to be spending all day the next day out in the desert sun, but I guess I never got around to drinking them.

Thanks man. I hooked up with Dan on the project but I had known him from before. He is helping me get my Camry completely finished and ready for a magazine feature, and just in the course of talking we kind of decided to go through on this project. He randomly asked me one day what I do for a living and when I said actor/screenwriter/producer he threw me the idea and we've been running with it since.
