Had some questions like is there such a thing as cheap hotel/motels near pacific beach? How does one go about finding the cheapest housing?

You should ask to have this moved to the Local Cali section. You'll probably get a better response.

lol... cheap housing. Umm for housing, you're probably not going to want to look in PB. Look into east county for cheaper living, and more rednecks.

I think he means like temporary places to stay in pb for vacation. I don't really know do like hotels.com or something to find rates or call. There's not too many hotel/motel places to stay in pb.

I had a small place in PB about a mile from the beach for $550 a month when I worked at Sony. You can find cheap housing for sure... but for short stays there are plenty of hotels/motels out there that aren't too bad - it is Spring break though, so call ahead.

it depends on the location. Pacific Beach, Ocean Beach, etc. are not considered "cheap" areas. Go to National City, San Ysidro, and i will show you motels for $50 (or less) a night. Hahaha. But, if you're here on vacation, then you probably don't want to lodge there.

if you like, there's a lot of hotels downtown, and a couple of motels.

but i think the best thing you can do is check travel sites, like orbitz, priceline, hotels.com, etc.
