Stock s13 use seal beams. If you want hid you have to get a h4 conversion housing unit. Bosche hella and other companies make them. There are also cheap ebay ones that are weak.

Yeap. H4's. I would buy the nicer ones. I bought a ebay set and will probably end up buying a hella set now.

As far as price, I paid $150 shipped from JRT and that included shipping and the 1 yr. warranty.

how is the light output? glare? cut off?

MajorMods

light output, glare and cutoff dont really have much to do with the manufacturer are more to do with ur headlight housing. Most cars that ARENT projector headlights will suffer from cut-off and glare. The light output wont change too much however the projector housings will seem more efficient because the beam isnt scattered.

let's say on h4 s13 brick headlights

yes, because the H4 arent projectors, u will have beam cut off. glare doesnt effect u, only the people facing u. light output is all the same from em.

if you put these on A s13 with no projector retrofit, it will be like looking into the sun for other drivers, if you put them on a S14 Zenki with no retrofit it will be like looking into a aircraft landing light for other drivers, if you put them into a kouki, it will be OK, not the best ever, but OK cutoff and not the best dispersion.

this post should be a sticky in here for all HID group buys.
