HKS USA FAQ (http://www.hksusa.com/FAQ/?id=1612)

If you don't want to read it, it's about the HKS turbo kits and fitment on USDM SR swaps.

cool, man. yeah, i don't have any immediate plans for a turbo upgrade (read: broke-as-a-joke), but i just wanted to find out if kits like the ones HKS offers are an option for us here in the US. best part is, that by the time i'm ready for an upgrade, they may have finished the R&D for a LHD SR turbo upgrade. now THAT would be cool. SS mani. GT2835 turbo. FMIC. BOV. etc. I'll take that with a side order of F-CON Pro and a set of Volk Racing CE28Ns to go, please

I have a general question about the gt25 series turbos. How in relation to the current garret t25. I am assuming bigger but How much and is it just more efficent or what? Will bigger injector be needed etc. Just general answers are cool not looking for someone to get a technical w/ compressor maps and stuff

Well, the GT2510 is a very tiny upgrade. Best thing about it is ball bearings. And you could probably use it with stock injectors (but barely). The 2530 and 2835 are very popular in Japan and in the HKS turbo kits because they are very streetable and have a nice wide powerband. I'll be getting one of these. The 3037 is a bit much for my taste, and the 3240 is WAY over the top. Screw that. I want to have a nice smooth powerband all the way to redline.

Anyway, with all of them, you'd be wise to get an ECU reprogram and new injectors. I HIGHLY doubt you'd have much luck with an S-AFC. But you can try it Personally, I'd say get a JWT ECU for the price of 1.5 S-AFCs. It'll be worth it.
