what i know of is that everything you see is redesign even in the inside too. thats all i know from what i've read.

Yeah from what i heard, they redesigned the internals and changed the externals because of many ebay knock offs.

The reason they redesigned it it's because of what Clearalbino said... Too many knock offs out in the market.

I have this BOV for my new setup. Will have it installed this weekend :bigok:
i installed one on my buddies gti and its a very high pitched shriek rather than a deep whoosh. no adjustment screw...and the cooling fins are an extra special feature to help keep it cool. Hahaha just my .02 but i wouldnt buy one...:hsdance:

Thread title?
BOF? As in blow off fail. GG HKS, yet another "almost" racing part, plastic internals... I wonder how the new SUPER Sqv will stand up against my propane torch with those cooling fins? ;)

If your underhood temps are as hot as a propane torch you have a lot of other problems...
HKS bov, worked great for me, even at 26 psi through a 62-1.
PWR BOV is awesome.
But i dont think anything is application specific and effective as a Greddy Type R or a big boy from TIAL for full racing applications...
but then again I doubt your eclipsing the 500-1200 hp range...:wtf:
