I just installed new KVR carbon kevlar pads and replaced my rotors with brembo's, and i was wondering what i should do to break them in... they didnt come with instructions... so any help would be nice.

these are the instructions i got from Strano parts (http://www.stranoparts.com)when i bought my pads from them.

To condition brake pad material surfaces correctly, this procedure must be followed:

1. Accelerate vehicle to approximately 35 to 40 mph.
2. Apply brakes using moderate pedal pressure to reduce speed to approximately 5mph.
3. Repeat 1 & 2 8 to 10 times allowing at least 1/3 mile between cycles.
4. Allow pads to cool completely before driving car again.

IMPORTANT!!!
Under no circumstances drive the vehicle with the brakes continually applied, or use the brake excessively hard as a break-in procedure. The following could result:

1. Excessive heat will be generated.
2. Resins will be burnt.
3. Loss of braking could occur.

If pads are not bedded in correctly the result could may be:

1. Poor braking performance.
2. Squealing
3. Excessive dust

Note:

Repco, PBR, MetalMasters and Auto Specialty Metal Master pads are all the same. The pads are just boxed differently for the various distributors. We sell all these lines depending on the prices from our vendors.

I was going to ask.
How do you like the KVR's? I am going to be using some on my daily driver street car. I hear the only problem is the "cool" braking noises.

yes, once my KVRs get hot, they get noisy. that's the carbon doing it's thing. you should hear my uncle's friend's porsche 930 turbo with rear full-carbon brakes!!! wheeeeee! on every turn...
