It wont take you that long with the right tools.
You will need, a jack, stands, 14mm socket, 10" 3/8 extension, 3/8" swivel, 3/8 socket wrench.
With all this stuff you should be able to have it out in 15 minutes, and that's with taking a 10 minute shit. :p

Yeah, just grab the tools mentioned, I did it while I was on break at work in 15minutes. Would've been faster, but some mormans kept trying to convert me. Then asked, "Do you drift"...

I'm bumping this because I had to replace my SR starter, so i bought one from my friend, I went to bolt it back up, using a 14mm ratchet wrench. The problem I'm having is, the bolts go through the starter fine, its when it attaches to the transmission, I keep tightening and tightening, and it doesnt seem to do anything at all. I'm going nowhere fast. So the starter is still loose, and it doesnt catch any thread? I can still slide the bolts out. What am i doing wrong?

try putting the bolts in without the starter there.
if they spin forever without tightening, then the threading is fucked on the bolt, in the hole, or on both.
if they go in fine, you aren't lining it up right when you are trying to screw them in.

You putting the bolts in backwards. There is no thread in the transmission bell housing. The bolts go through the tranny and thread into the starter.
