ok well this problem came and bit my ass out of no where

i started the car this morning and it idled with a tiny misfire and i didnt think anything of it at the time.

i touched the gas and it started misfiring more (the whole car shook bad) and it just died

it took awhile to crank it again, maybe 2 tries at 8 secs long and it starts up again, but it will be misfiring hard and will die withen 5-7 secs each time. rpm doesnt matter ill rev it up to 4k and it dies like someone took out the key.

its getting spark to all cylinders and fuel, i changed the plugs and tested the coil and theyre all fine. the cap/rotor were good too.

my friend said it might be something electrical?

anyone? :)

Do a leakdown or a compression test...

I know this might not be related, but i plugged an open vacuum line and it stalled.

hey mine did the same thing this morning- KA n/a. the night before, i had removed the dizzy and then put it back in, then swapped my cap and wires with my brothers KA. i moved the rotor around till i got it running fine again then when i drove it i noticed a kind of hesitation and it misfired/ bogged down a lot when i hit the gas.

today morning i drove off to school and 2 miles down the highway it started shaking like crazy, when i let off the gas, it idled fine, when i hit the gas it just shut off. so i started diagnosing it on the shoulder, turned the rotor till i got it running again, then it just kept blah blah dying...

so i went home and got my stock MAF, (i was running an N60 maf with these problems) hooked up the stock one and same thing... its home now and im about to put a for sale sign on it.

>_< , you need a timing light to get the timng back in order, sohcs are very common for injector leaks, look at the bottom of the injectors the bottom o rings always leak after a while, double check that please
