7am-3pm
NOS Event Center in the big parking lot (main gate entry)
$120 per driver
All skill levels welcome

YAY!!! I really hope i can make this... pretty sure I have the funds... and I already have tires!!! skid pad will be open right?? that's a big thing for me... I wanna get some practice on the skid-pad.

also, why does it end so early? Isn't it usually till 4-5pm at least? Plus with the long days, sun doesn't go down until 6-7ish.. haha 7am to 7pm!!! do it!

This is stock car season, so that lot is used as a parking lot for the speedway on Saturday nights. Their gates open for parking at 4pm, so we have to be finished by 3pm in order to have everything cleared-out by 4pm. We cannot run on Sundays because there is a swap-meet in that lot.

It is the same amount of track time as any other DB practice, it is just earlier in the day. Because we run both groups at the same time, you get a ton of seat-time. No sitting around waiting for your group to be up.

We are trying not to abandon our beginner and intermediate drivers, because you are the real heart of drifting. We are trying to give people a safe and legal place to learn to drift and to have fun. This is the best we can do for you. If we don't get enough people, or if people keep complaining about the hours or the fact that it is a parking lot, or whatever, then we simply will not run these cone-course and skidpad practices at all.

Parking lot is great place to improve your skill and there is more than enough seat time. More seat time than any other event imo, at least ones I have been too lately.

You must register in advance, and you must make specific arrangements with me to pay cash at the track.

So send me an email after you register, and we'll work it out.

4th gear on a parking lot somehow makes me imagine cars rolling over haha ... i dunno how nice the pavement is on your parking lot but one bump at that speed will make your car fly lol

i still have mad cone marks on my driver side ( on the front bumper, door , rocker and a quoter pannel) from our second run when i tryed running away from you and hit some cones at the tear drop ... can u sign those marks on my car ? lol

Guys (and girls), you all might want to be careful what you say to people at these events. There is a reasonable chance that the guy you make fun of is a far better drifter than you could dream to be.

John, the guy at whom you rolled your eyes and scoffed when he told you he is a Drift Buffet instructor was FD and D1 driver Andy Hateley. He may look like a dirty hippie, but he is among the best drivers you'll meet.

I will call him and pass-along the apology. You weren't speaking directly to me, but I was walking right next to him, and I was egging him on to hand out some flyers. I'm not a D1 driver, but I'm not exactly a random wannabe fanboy myself (I co-own Drift Buffet).

All that said, it takes a real man to own up and apologize. Don't even worry about it.

Hopefully we'll see you behind the wheel on the 21st!

besides drift circuit, drift buffet is a tight ass event. i learned so much bout my car and that staff was coo as hell. Thanks Terry for lettin me come in a lil late and for taking care of my registration. YO thanks Riley for teachin me the use of the throttle and e-brake more better. i think i got the hang of it towards the end. i'll let you know how the part shop max coils are and you can drive my car again when i get them. peace!!
