this question is for those who actually have filled mounts or who have tried it or currently is using them... how long do they last? i used the construction grade PL poly and it came out a puke yellow jus like all the writeups ive seen. jus wanted to get first hand experience on how long i can rely on them? thanks for the input guys.

I used clear poly and painted them black.

Ive been running them for over a year without any problems... seem as stiff as ever.

stiff as hell. use good liquid nail or industrial streghth polyurethane. looks like peanut butter. let it dry a day for best results. will be just as good as 200 cusco mounts, just as stiff and for a fraction of the cost.

yah, thats what i used 420sx, i gave it a week to cure tho and i felt it every day jus to see what was going on. and i can say after each day that shit got stiffer n stiffer. im using hockey puck mounts at the moment but it fucked me last night after a nice dip. stupid pucks lowered my motor atleast a full inch and instead of hitting crossmember i hit oil pan. drip drip drip... :(
im putting in my filled mounts today to get the engine back to stock height. then changing my oil pan and gasket. good to know these will last. thanks guys

i've heard of them failing once.
cracked in half while pulling an engine after years of use.
for $10 bucks you got no complaints.

As long as you don't bake the mounts you should expect be able to expect them to last for a while.
I baked one of my mounts and it only lasted a few months. I have since refilled another sets of mounts and let them cure "naturally".

well so far so good. swapped out the mounts yesterday and they feel pretty nice. not as rough at idle as hockey pucks but feels nice n solid during acceleration and when im using the throttle in general.

I used them. Someone filled them for me. I believe they used the 3m stuff. Or window sealant. Ugh. Whatever. It was something you shouldn't use. Because after a year or so of use after I clutch kicked the drivers side broke.
As long as you fill it with the right stuff, you're golden.
