Sway means to rock in a given direction.

So, when you have a sway bar, it keeps your car from rocking left/right.

FYI they are called sway bars/anti-sway bars/ anti-roll bars/ stabilizer bars... checking on a search engine isn't as hard as drifting, guys... i'm pretty sure you all know how to race/drift, right?? no offense to anyone who reads this... i'm just trying to help out..
