I recently had a replacement KA24 swapped into my S14 (can't afford RB25 yet...) and haven't had any problems, untill today. The car ran fine all day and then this evening. I started noticing it sputtering and losing power. I tried to stomp it from a redlight and it responded like I had barely pushed the throttle. I think it's the fuel system, particularly the pump. Any ideas as to what to do now. I do want to RB swap the car down the road so I figured I'd go ahead and swap to the Walbro 255, but I've heard some stories about them. Any help is great. Thanx

I'm having kind of the same problem as well with my S13. There are times where i will just be driving down the road and out of no where the car will spudder like it had no more fuel to give, then as that is happening ill try pressing down the accelerator and give it a little more gas and it wont give anything and start being jumpy. Same thing at a dead stop and take off. Did you check your injectors?

Try out the fuel filter. upgrading the fuel pump simply will not alleviate your one simple problem, especially wanting to upgrade the "problem" to a larger unit.

I agree, however if you're looking for Walbro 255 info, then I'd say for the price, it's an unbeatable deal. I'm extremely satisfied with mine- had it for 2yrs beating the crap out of it with no issues. Make sure you get the H.P. (high pressure), which is specifically suited to turbocharged applications.
Doesn't sound like this problem is your pump. Sounds more like filter or spark plugs or vaccuum leak- something a bit less elusive. Your fuel pump, being electrical will usually be go/nogo. Maybe water in your gas? Dunno, but I don't think it's your pump.

i've never heard anything bad about walboro's, i'm running an in-line walboro 255lph on my old rusty piece of crap lol
before i confuse you, get an in-tank walboro 255lph. don't cheap out and get a venom or no namer, get a walboro
