 Ok so I thought I spun a bearing but im not so sure now.
Here is the story from the top!

A few weeks ago I changed my oil late at night before I closed up shop, used Royal Purple for the first time ever on this motor, all seemed well.
The next morining whil making my 40min drive to work my wife calls me about 5min from work and tell me there is oil all over the drive way,i leave @ 5:30 so I did'nt see it, but I already know what it was. I got to work and checked my oil, I was about 1.5qt low... After a quick check it seems that my greddy filter adapter was a little loose and that where it was leaking from. I remember fighting to get the filter off but did'nt think much of it last night.
I toped off my oil and started her up... ran fine .. I ran around the block one time and then cam the knock after one quick blast down the road.
The knock is only from 2600-3200 the its gone. I'm not sure if its a rod or maybe the valvetrain!
Any input would be great.....

Ok so I got a little deeper into it today.
Played with the timing and I can make it go away, so I dont think its a rod.. Then I checked and the cylinders are 144,145,147,142 psi, so it can't be a stuck valve. Now I'm back to I have no clue! Lifters seem to be in place, RAS are still there! ??????????????????????????????? Help!

from what i just read it seems u spun a rod bearing, what motor do u have....sr maybe? if so that is a common sr problem, to find out which rod bearing u spun u can elimnate each cylinder 1 by 1 and which ever cylinder the bearing is spun on it will go away or quiet down when u kill the fire 2 it gud luck.

That's amazing, it only took you seconds to play with your timing.

It only took a second to copy and paste it from where I posted it last night!
