I think i've got the air in the lifters problem. Got down to removing the cams but not can't see how to remove the lifters, do i just pry or grasp them out? Don't want to damage them in any way. Any help or tips would be appreciated!
thanks in advance!

Generally speaking, the lifters have to be easy to move in their bores, otherwise they would get stuck when the cams, in this case rocker arms, push them down on the valve.
They should spin and pull freely out, otherwise something may be wrong...Try to spin it, maybe with a flathead or something that won't score up the bores.

Nah the Hydraulic lifters pull right out with out turning i just broke my head down they are a precise fit in those holders so you gotta wiggle and pull them out by hand dont pry on them or pull on them with plyers they should pull out my hand.
