s2000 engine, yes yes fully fonctionnal with 6 speed tranny rear diff from the s2000. Took me 2 years to finish the project...

...mainly because of the 1000 pounds of sound system.

That car would be pretty sick if it wasn't owned by a idiot.

I had that idea back in the day,

use a honda, place a s2000 motor, and a CRV rear end...

I bet with all the junk in that cars trunk it can do burnouts just by slamming the gas.

Somebody made a rwd Civic here years ago. Used a CRV transfer case and eliminated the front diff. Thats rwd.

There has been rear wheel drive civics since before 240s got popular.

Back in college, I knew someone who swapped an AWD turbo Civic wagon drivetrain into his CRX, and eliminated the front halfshafts. That would be a sweet car to have.

It would honestly be one of the coolest cars ever had he not ruined everything else on it so bad. Thing has a stock exhaust manifold even... Personally, if I were going to make a Civic hatch RWD. It would be mid engine too =D

do you know anything about a stock s2000 exhaust manifold?

isnt their a pre cat integrated into the exhaust manifold on an s2000?

From what ive read, the stock manifold is pretty decent, and any upgrades dont really have many benefits in terms of power gain.

Motor swap and RWD is about the only cool thing about the car... everything else is Teh Fail! "Runs great on nitrous"

Cool car, definitely more of a show car than a race car. Two thumbs up for the guy for something unique!
