Thought there would be a thread for this already. Caught a glimpse last night while I was at the gym:

Brother Can't Drive (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNVrMZX2kms)

Crash (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fG9Eo8JjLtY)

Apparently it was a publicity event for the film "Redline" he's in.
:o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

Heard about it on Power this morning

Sick under

Oh well

I wonder if he has the mil 5 to cover it

It was a publicity event, not a stunt

Britney showing her vagine is a good publicity stunt

Crashing an Enzo is NOT a good publicity stunt

i second that it is a publicity stunt.

The event that it happened at was a publicity race to promote the movie. The crash was very real.

I don't know what I would do if I was the guy that owned the car

it's not just the fact of money, it's the fact you can't just walk into a dealership and buy another one, lol.

That movie is gonna make ZERO DOLLAS.

Doesn't look very promising.

They need to include this scene in the bonus DVD footage.

Eddie Griffin used to be cool, what happened to him? I bet the owner of the car is punching himself in the crotch over his decision of letting him drive.

Yeah, I saw the trailer and it reeks... pure garbage. Read somewhere that some rich Middle Eastern dude is fronting all the money and cars from his personal collection.

it pisses me off how he just laughed about it and made it a joke

I honestly don't see how it affects any one of us.

So an Enzo crashed.
Everyone flips out.

I think a noob drifting into a curb and destroying a clean S13 affects us more than that enzo did.

It's not like, oh an Enzo crashed, my Enzo's value just went up, or Man, it's going to be hard to find an Enzo to buy.

I don't see what the big deal is.

Thousands of surplus P-38 lightnings being crushed by bulldozers at the end of WWII affects me more than some quasi-celebrity understeering an exotic into the wall at Irwindale. (like this hasn't happened before.)

Are you saying this happened before?

Please tell me it wasn't a Dodge Viper!

Hahhaha, "Kidnapping Plot"

You gotta feel like a total Douche after crashing SOMEONE else's Enzo. But hey, that's what you get for letting some inexperienced drive a car like that.

The only reason I care is because of his "Oh well" attitude. Kinda irritating.

umm, no.
according to Ferrari the proper name of the Enzo is "Enzo Ferrari"

That doesn't mean it makes sense however.

lol... I follow F1 and <3 Ferrari and only 400 Enzos were ever made. Feels like an irreplaceable classic masterpiece being ruined. If it were any other super car I wouldn't care at all.

imdb says that it is the producer himself that put up the money and his collection of cars, including the REAL porsche gt that gets flipped and destroyed :eek2:

taken from imdb
""Redline" is an auto/action thriller that features the personal exotic car collection of the producer, real estate investor Daniel Sadek. Sadek who is financing the $26 million movie used his own cars including a Phantom Rolls Royce, Lamborghini Murcielago, Ferrari Enzo, Ferrari F430, Ferrari Scaglietti and two Mercedes SLR McLarens. Sadek's $450,000 Porsche Carrera GT is actually crashed during one sequence. Written by Deidre Woollard"

^^^ wow someone has way too much money and wants to spend it in a foolish way. Why can't some rich people just use their money to feed world hunger.

I know my good hard money goes towards paying some 20 something year old's college tuition. At least that's what she said.

If this was some car that can be bought again..then I wouldn't be shocked. However, this was a limited production exotic that the owners were hand picked by the manufacturer. Every time an Enzo crashes its all over auto news...and I'm just shocked and surprised they caught one on film and it wasn't out of reckless driving.

That movie is gonna make ZERO DOLLAS.

Agreed, especially now that the studio might have to pay up for the totaled car.

I honestly forgot all about this movie until now...but even then..I won't watch it.

Redline looks like the worst movie ever. An enzo is an amazing car and its unfortunate that they let an actor with no talent at driving into the car. Oh well.
