View Full Version : OBX GX Rear Lower Arm?
I see these bars on Ebay every so often. Has anyone actually got one yet? If so, does it even do anything? Thanks!

My roommate got one for the 91 Civic hb. We put it on and started to putt around. It seemed like it made rear break loose a lot easy(e-brake/ass dragging). Keep in mind he has ST sway bars, tokico blues and springs, and upper strut bars. There wasnt that big of a diff.
We took it home and ripped off the upper rear strut and lower tie bar. Drove around the block and boom all the rear body roll was back. Went home put on just the new tie bar.. With out the upper strut on you could see a big diff. So if you already have the rear upper strut bar then you might not notice as much. Well this was on a ff so im not sure how a rwd will react.

I didn't even think there was a place on our rear subframe for that. I see them a lot of FF cars, but never on an FR car.

I doubt it, its more cosmetic than function, I believe that part of the subframe seems to be very rigid

I know OBX makes it for our car cause I sell OBX stuff. I was curious about it myself. I may buy one and try it out and see how much it effects our cars.

Hey chinh!! name's "240SboMeX"!! Get it Straight!!
as for the bar, yup i got that but in red color. U can see it under the car, but it looks real small, but as for its performance, i think its mostly for the look. I ordered the front strut bar and put them on @same time so cant really tell the diff...im not real good at feeling things like that anyways
btw: i bought mine for 40 bucks US, as posed to 20 bucks for front strut bar...i dont think the rear's worth it, and it rubs against my piping (gonna get that fixed easy). I coulda spent my good $65 Can. on some sweet bright light instead!
