chasis- s13
front fenders- +30mm
rear fenders- +50mm

wheel specs-

"true OG sizes" - wtf does that mean??

if you have to ask what is entailed fitting 19" on S13, you're probably not gonna go through with it.

http://www.lestercat.net/dev/HTML/images/steamroller_02.jpg

or you'll just have the turning radius of a steamroller. "ballin" you are not.

my fault. let me rephrase. with the wheel specs listed above and the fenders on the car now, room will be little to none. ive searched the threads and found similar offsets (within 5-7mm) just not 19s and they fit. sorry i sound like a retard, but im just trying to learn the right way the first time so the car is done to the best of my abilities

it should bolt right up no problems. get smaller front tires. not that gangster

yea i gues not, just from reading the other s13 wheel fittment threads i thought these wheels were some what more agressive. guess not. i fail.

It should look good, especially if you get nice aero, although I doubt 19's are a wise decision performance/handling-wise on an S13, and even an S14. You'll have to stretch some tiny tires, and make sure to relocate your harnesses and hammer the metal inside the wheel wells. Personally though, I wouldn't get big wheels unless I had at least around 250hp.

drift-it
03-25-2007, 12:54 AM
do 18/19 with similar sizes. make sure you have aero though if you want wheels that big. run same widths/offsets with narrower tires. 215 or 225 front and 255/265 rear. done

When do you say to much is just right!! I guess I'm to old school or more performance minded. It's all about horsepower to weight ratio, a rotating mass is even more important to HP loss/transfer. I know you have your mind set on looking cool with 19's or why stop there, 20's or even 22's, Be real, put the money in to the motor or an sr20 with some 16's or 17's in a lightweight make and smoke the doors of your buddies rolling with there 19's:Owned:

stick with 18s on the s13. thats more then big enough and looks hella gangster when fitted properly.

the wheels you posted kidsaru, are 18s if im not mistaken unless then make them in 19s as well. my friend has those on his coupe n they look the same size but his coupe is lower.

Ask an OG, a true OG in wheel fitment. No one puts(with the exception of a few people who run mad camber) 19's on there s13, certainly not in the front and certainly not 10 wide. Most people don't even run 18s in the front for similar reason, your driveablty goes to shit.

If you are just building a car to pick your mom up some prune juice and oatmeal from the store or a show car it might be fine.

As far as tires they are way to big for the space you are putting them.235/35/19 front 255/35/19 rear would be a better fit.

Post pics and prove us wrong when you try to make it work though.

well the reason i even posted this (and from the looks of it i wont post something like this again) is to get a better idea, from people that have more experience what they thought. obviously im a crack head and know nothing about anything. ill just get some sport maxs and leave it at that.

Here is some + feedback. Most of the comments seem a bit harsh, mine included, we are just trying to help you not make an expensive mistake. You would lose power and handling by putting on 19's. You more then likely would feel a big difference yourself. So, you have to ask yourself, am I going for looks or performance or the combo? You can decide what you want from there. Pure performance wheels and tires don't look all that bling and should stay at the track. So, what you want would look fine at the show but be trouble on the street or track. Phreze was saying the same thing in a loving type way LOL. Oh, With a hammer, a torch, and a machine shop, you can put what every combo you want!! Have fun:rawk:

lol 255/35 19, that's taller than the 275/30 he mentioned

and tire choice in stock diameter in 18's and 19's sucks balls for wide wheels, we need more 30 and 25 series tires. either that or switch to s14 since it has taller stock tire size.

At least you guys don't have to deal with Supraforums. "Anything under 30mm offset won't fit.":barf:

I run 18's on my front, and it's very close to hitting stuff. S13's look like they could pull off 19's, but you'll need a hammer.

Dont run 19's...just sell the car...buy a Scooter.

Yes, they will fit. Buy them and put them on.

Just forget about being able to do a full turning sweep

its easy to get full steering

theres really not that many variables

1 the width which is like any retard can figure that out, put flares or do something until the wheels look like they fit

and 2 the fender room, which is basically like, make your tension rods short enough so that your wheels dont hit the firewall when the wheels are full out, then make sure you can turn the wheels full in, sometimes you gotta cut out some material from the back of the front bumper so it dosent hit.

its pretty fucking easy

Haha, I have yet to see a Supra with nicely fitting wheels. It's funny how 240 owners spend more on wheels than they bought the car for, and Supra owners with the money opt for horrible fitting cheapos.

hahahaha ugh... imagine what she taste like now
