I am installing hotshot headers today on a 96 240 and can not figure out how to manuver them to get them on.
Any help would be great.

there are 3? screws on the steering fluid reservoir support, i loosened them to give it a little play.
you are going to squish the hell out of the hoses that run along the firewall, or you have to move them...
i believe i rocked it back, and then dropped it in, then rocked it forward again (while applying about 165 lbs to it ie all but hanging off it)
be careful with the egr fitting it is still giving me a hard time

Thank you for the advice SaintlyCharBoy, I did finally get the headers on, with help from a friend.
There is one problem though, I finished adding the random tech cat and N1 dual Everything looks like it fits good and sounds good. However I was going for a test drive and when i went to turn the wheel the steering knuckle was snagging on the on the new headers.
Did this happen to anyone else and if so how did you fix it?

Yeah that happened to me too with the Pacesetter Header I installed. Sounds great, looks ugly (but it does the job). It was rubbing against the steering column too.
I didnt really do anything to it but it just stopped one day. Probably wore it down or something!

erm.... mine no rub, but.... i have heard of it happening, with the hotshot, on a black car... cannot at this time remember whose it was...
do you happen to know the sze of the egr tube fitting, other than handily adjustable vise grips)?

I went out and bought a 24mm wrench for the egr tube.

Didn't hotshot fix the problems with their header system? I remember there being a thread about it before.

Finally, everything has been installed. I took her around the block once and then out on the town.
The car seems to rev more freely and the N1 Dual, isn't as loud as I was expecting it to be. It is mostly loud in first gear and the calms down when just cruising threw the gears. When I open her up, then it a bit louder.
One thing that I am going to do is get some header wrap from optonline, cause there is some serious heat when I open the hood.
I better enjoy it, as I told the wife that will be it for the car for a while. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('>

So, I have been driving with this exhaust for about 3 days now and I really like, and all my friends say that it looks great and sounds just right.
It seems to be a lot louder inside the car, than it is on the out side, why is this? and what can I do to make it a little quieter on the inside?
I was thinking maybe lining the trunk with some of the matting that is used for those loud base cars. Would this help out any or just a waist of money?

Dynomat will help dampen any sounds. Whether it my from a stereo, road noise, exaust noise, or crazy screaming people outside your car. Unfortunatly it also adds weight to your car...fast. I have a friend who does sound compitions...he matted his whole car and added it about 200lbs to the curb weight. :/
EDIT: HOLY THREAD REIVIAL BATMAN! ...geez, thats two times today that not thinkin I posted on a forum from like a year ago that came up in search.
