I'm looking for the best set up for my 95 N/A 240. I am looking for a cat-back system that won't scarfice low end power. I heard that 5Zigen piping diameter is 2.38 or 2.4. Is this true? Plus, I was also looking into the Tanabe Hyper racing medallion. I was wondering if any has any info on this exhaust because I haven't found anything on it. I wanted the Apexi N1 Dual exhaust heard it wouldn't be too good for the KA because the piping is too large and I would lose low end power which I don't want to happen. If anyone has info on these exhaust system any other ones that they would like to suggest, please do so. Thanks.

if you want the dual n1 i say just go ahead and get it, even though everyone and their mothers has one now . about 6 months ago i was in the same position as you, i had just a short ram intake and i was looking for an exhaust that wouldn't kill my torque. anyway i bit the bullet and bought the dual n1 and installed both that and my cold air extension (which had been sitting around for the winter) at the same time. i did feel a liiittle bit of torque loss, but it was barely noticeable, and the gains in the higher rpm's are more than enough to make up for it IMHO, now i can pass people in 5th on the highway!

i don't have any experience with the other exhausts, but if you are still worried about torque loss, just go w/something quality like the 5zigen.

Most N/A applications are 60mm or 2.4... Yes they'll work well, it all depends on the matter of what look you want. Each exhaust system is made for hp, looks, and quietness.

I spoke with a rep from JIC and he was telling me that 80mm piping would cause a bit of low end torque loss but the high end hp gain would be enough to compensate. If you plan on turboing in the future you should consider this. I myself am getting the Ings Z Power, if anyone else wants this exhaust let me know cause it takes a while to get here from Japan, like 2 months.
