1974 Datsun 260z
RB25 Skyline engine with an RB20 Trans.
Jegs 4 core radiator.
twin electric blow through fans.
All steel body mods. Not a kit, one off hand fabbed metal.
Gunmetal Panasport wheels
Dunlop FM 901 tires.
Sprins and struts but not sure what type, were there when I got it.
Autopower roll bar
Fuel cel
Metal dash with full Autometer gauges.
Painless wiring harness.
Factory seats in great condition.
Momo wheel.
Also have an R200 diff goes with the car, no axles.

Car is different, draws a lot of attention. It's an older custom though so the paint is not tip top by any stretch and it ain't perfect. Has some rust here and there starting to show that can be easily attended too when car is repainted, same with a few dents. Has some Bondo due to molding of the flares into the car. Everything was hand done back in the late 70s. Car is fast and loud. Has no exhaust, just a dump tube coming out of the O2 housing and pointed to the ground. Loud inside the car, not so bad outside but sounds just mean as all get out. All swap fab and swap done by Top Hat Performance. RB25 is stock and runs great.

$6500 bucks. Not really looking for trades but you never know.

Nice, but strange.

I'd be interested if the body was more traditional.

The stock pieces are under the flares. This is not a kit, the flares are barrel ribbed, full metal flares with square tubing for lips. There is no fiberglass on this car.

If you take it to the drag strip not only would you make it to the end, you could drive through the pea gravel and crash through the concession stand full of fat folks on your way back to staging and still have everything attached. I hit a possum at 70 and managed to crack the paint on the front end.

As for looks, well you either love it or hate it. There is no in between with this car. I've heard it all in my 4+ years of owning it. :)

Yea I remember you Ghost! Nothing much, going to school for automotive technology and recovering. What happened to drifting.com ? It was so active now its stale.

PS- Who is that hottie advertising the shirts on the site?

no offense but is there any possible way too get the body back to stock form?

Sure. Swap the motor into another chassis would be your easiest way.

You could take a ziz wheel and cut the flares off the rear end, cut out sections and replace the rear quarters, take the entire front off and buy a used one off of another Z including fenders, nose, hood mechanism and whatever else is needed. Replace the hood, rear decklid and roof section where the sunroof is. Cut the rear end off and replace it, along with lights. Replace the dash, gauges and wiring harness. Did I miss anything?

So in other words, no.

No clue who the hottie is. Drifting.com just has too many pro's there now. By bringing all the pros in, they have good information and it's a good avenue to speak with the drivers but nobody else goes there much anymore. Too much for your average forum troll.
