New announcers too!!! I hate who they have doing their announcing. They need to make the cars faster...It wont hurt them at all to do so. Champ car use to be faster then f1 cars were for f's sake..Use to have a lottttta power

the new Champcar just broke the 2006 Toyota's F1's lap record at Laguna Seca. That's not fast enough???

I would honestly like them to have minimum 100hp more then they currently do. They need something to make them stand out and that would do it. Not that hard to do either...Just add more boost!

Are they using ethanol now and they still do not have traction control right?...Traction control is one of the worst things about any racing car. So gay.

p.s. Iam impressed about breaking the lap record...But now we just need to have a fast f1 car go out there. ha! What was the original record? I did not see it posted

They have allways used Methanol. No traction control. The problem with more power is that when everyone has the same power you really can't tell the difference b/c the cornering speeds stay the same. You just end up braking more.

It would just produce lower lap times and make it the "fastest" series in the world. That type a gimmick is what Iam getting at.

+1 for no traction contol and methanol.
The title of best open wheel racing in North America isn't good enough?

No! We're America! We need to be the best EVA!!

National pride!! Just like how it is embarassing we no longer have any hand in F1 with any decent drivers or anything! Chevy/Ford/Saleen/anyone needs to step up......

eh champcar is okay, its just like formula mazda to me... same ol same ol.... but still good tho sebastian bourdais... surely would be a points leader like fucken always... i caught the f1 race in australia...on speed.. good race... kimi won with flying colors... to bad for lewis being pushed behind alonso, when he was coiming out of the pits. ALMS should be good to watch because andretti green just became a player... kanaan is racing for them...would like to see porche and audi be given a run for their win...and the rolex series is always great too watch... anyone catch that koni challenge race? they had at daytona? or the 12 hrs of sebring?

ALL in ALL , im glad racing season is back.. since football season is over...
