After a few months of researching, I am ready to put the money up for a SR20DET swap.  I am from Cincy,OH and there is no place to get complexed car things done (I am mechanically stupid also). I was going to take my 95 240 SE to Unstable Hybrids to get a red top s13 installed with all the goodies, (FMIC,Downpipe,Clutch,BOV,EGT,Fuel Pump,Boost Controller and Apex-i N1 Catback)  Are they really good? If I take my car all the way to Georgia and it runs for shit then I will be screwed! So I want to make sure they have a good reputation and dependable.  Thanks, Andrew

They probably have the most experience installing SRs in the United States.  They are reliable, they are helpful, you cannot go wrong if you go through them.

For those who have dealt with them, I believe thier is a FAQ on shops and such, you guys should head over there and write a little review.

I know most of you are too lazy to look for it, so here is the link: Company Review (http://www.zilvia.net/f/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=6;t=10954)

I think he was just stating that it isn't that hard to do yourself. I think.

It's not exactly easy either though. &nbsp;There are a lot of things that you could mess up and it's very very time consuming. &nbsp;People that do it themselves generally take 3 weeks to as much as 2 months (worst case scenario, if you don't have tons of time on your hands and only work on it once and a while or have to order lots of missing parts) to complete the project. &nbsp;If you have a shop do it for you, it's usually guaranteed to be done in 1-2 weeks (depending on the shop). &nbsp;To me, time is money and I'd rather pay a shop to do it and be able to blame them if something were to go wrong. &nbsp;Then again, when I turbo my KA, I might do that myself, if people are willing to help that is. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sly.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':sly:'>

Jason is from my area up here in Indiana, so he comes back quite often. . .he's fuckin cool as hell, and after checking out a certain RB20DET powered S13 with manual tranny (was auto). . I have 100% faith in their ability. . in-fucking-credible work, and VERY clean. &nbsp;

You won't have to worry about getting stuck there =) And if u do, hey. . ATL is better than Ohio, right? &nbsp;
