92 KA Throttle Cable on SR...How do you adjust it?

Well the SR installation saga continues.....
We were mounting the throttle cable to the butterfly and then when we went to bolt the fitting to the intake manifold, we found that the exposed wire cable was too short so it would open the throttle plate if we used the stock mounting point....Any ideas?

i am in the process of fabbing something up.. but i have the same problem did any answer to this/?? i been searching as you should be able to tell
