Anyone know where I can find a new set of locks for my car? Mine are pretty worn down and my keys are shit.

I got a new lock set for my trunk for $429 at nismoparts.  Of course it included two new keys as well.  Oh yeah and the 180sx taillights, metal panel, and gaskets.

Otherwise I dunno besides Nissan.  I've seen key sets sold for the 180sx light conversion for under $30 so I'm guessing the dealer prices can't be too bad.  I'd check courtesyparts first.

Two words:
Junk Yard
or should it be one word:
Junkyard??
Dunno other than that.

well, what I get at a junk yard would probably be just as bad as what I have now, if not worse.

Well, if the locks are that bad already, afer paying and doing the work to replace them, I think he would rather have lock cores that aren't already 80% as gunked up as the current ones. Plus then you have to be sure you actually get keys from the yard, if they have them.

Honestly, I'd bet you could spray some degreaser in there and be pretty happy with the results (certainly for $2 it can't hurt before you spend $40+).  I was amazed how gunked up the rear core was when it got replaced.
