I have heard off some bad things that happen to that car. The show appears to be half way decent as of right now. Also, appears to be some not so smart people on it also

Yeah i caught that last night. The s14 isnt too bad but like it was mentioned horrible aero and sunken wheels. Im not to fond of the chellenges either considering they seem to destroy the cars. But I guess if you signed up for it then they arent to worried about their cars. And what dumb#$% goes on a cross country high speed race without his drivers license.

O, did anyone catch anything about not having radar detectors and GPS systems? I don't think I saw any of the cars having them, I know I would if I was doing somthing like that.

Im not to sure but it seems like it might be against the rules seeing as they all raced to the first gas station to acquire maps. But then again they all could be idiots and just not have them. Who knows.

Ya exactly. What about those sore looser chicks in the Scion...psh! What a joke they were. I did really like the Lambo too.

Wow and he's reppin' Texas... no wonder he's trying to offroad.
other than the shitty looking shifter, and the knofk ofc steering wheel the car looks decent. I would of liked a super slammed s14 withs stock body and flared fenders with supper flush wheels, is it me or is anyone else under the impression that the car was put together for the show?

Wow why the hell did they take the stereo out? I would have totally left that in for driving accross country, racing or not, i would go nuts without it

All that would be ideal for show or track setup, but these guy are driving cross country all day. You are not earning points for how it looks, but rather how it performs.

Yea, for what it is, I guess cool. Nothing too spectacular, but thats true, going cross country in a slammed car would be hell. I probably would have gone with a more aggressive wheels and such, and not 18's, lol, one big pothole and your done. But yea, it fits the part it has to play. I need to catch this show next time its on.
my car is slammed with no radio and i daily drive it. shit i was going to do the bull run with my s14 but the vq was not going to be done in time.

My car is slammed on 17's with 40 series tires, it would just make a cross country trip easier to be higher and more sidewall for cushioning and no rim-bendage.

i dont think that car was built for this show..it is the old 9secondracing car. looks like they replaces the twin turbos with a larger single.

Just caught on spike webcasst. Like it but the chics were stupid. I was a finalist but the SC was not finished intime so i had to pull out. I will be back next year and will be doing it much better. The lambo is bound to have problems all the way through. The m3 guys fixed that radiator leak with tampon that was funny shit. Lets wait and see what the next episode brings.

wonder how he lost oil pressure, anyone bet it's the crank collar? assuming it was a r32 rb26

they said he spun a rod bearing...?
it was an r32 rb26 iirc.

from lost of oil pressure right?
r32 rb26's are notorious for that crank collar issue, wearing down(especially if modded and pushed hard), then no longer driving the oil pump, which will cause the spun bearing.
thats my guess at least

is that only for r32 rb's?

yes they fixed the issue in late model r32's so late r32's, r33's and r34's dont have that problem
