When I bought my car, it came with a pedal set... Two were installed proporly, and he gas pedal was wire-tied on. How do I removet the gas pedal on a 5 speed S13? I took a mirror and a flashlight, but couldn't make too much sense out of it all.

I'd like to know too. I know people have used aftermarket pedals on S14's with success. Do they have a pivoting gas pedal as well? I have a pedal set I'd like to install but am debating between:
1. cheating the brake over .5", and just installing the brake and clutch and leaving the gas pedal stock.

2. doing the brake and clutch and getting a clip on gas pedal with a flare for heel and toe downshifting

3. figuring out how to do it properly if someone can answer this question.

Steve, WTF are you talking about? Pivoting gas pedal? You mean how once it touches the floor it rotates back further? Almost all cars do that...what's the problem? Just install them like everyone else does and rock it.

Have you looked? It attaches to a rod that hangs down from above which is pivoted, and then the pedal is spring loaded on that. How do you srew a pedal into it's support? The best I can come up with is to attach it directly to the existing pedal.

How does everyone else do it?
