300zx headlight conversion

anyone ever tried a 300zx headlight conversion on a 1990 240sx?  im thinking about going down to a salvage yard and grabbing a set and am going to try to make it work....anyone ever tried this??




getting my sr20det red top in in one week, along with apex n1 catback, greddy DP and greddy/trust I/c, xs BOV, konig 17" wheels, warlbro fuel pump, APEXi 550cc injectors, injen intake, erebuni shogun style kit (cheap knock off i know, but they look cool), clutchmasters stage 4 kit, and finally, 75 shot nitrous system!!!  I cant control my excitement...in fact, i think i just soiled myself thinking about it!!!!

what the hell are u talking about.. ur getting an sr and an injen intake.. also where in the ehll are u getting all this mone.. that's easy over 5-6k.. UR INSANE.. and ur gonna do a 300zx headlight swap.! well anyways.. u normally wouldn't get an inje nintake with a turbo.. i don't see how it fits.. u have intercooler piping.. u still need an ait filter. but not a full intake w/ pipe.. and then on toip of that ur gonna put nos in ur car.. ?

Yeah I second everything just said. I would get the SR running reliably with normal boost, than up the boost, replace rod bearings, get a metal head gasket, and possibly consider nitrous after that. And where did all the green come from?

300zx Lights will look funky on a 240. Get a Silvia Conversion since you got all the green!

did i put injen intake on there? &nbsp;oh shit, my bad guys. &nbsp;anyways, i got some money from stocks i bought when i was like, 3, some money from selling my rx7, saving from paychecks, and i am signing a record deal early next month. &nbsp;(i cant believe i said i was getting an injen intake....now i feel like a total freakin' idiot)

ANyway... I would go with the eastbaer projection light kit for the 240. I think you can get them from J Spec. They are for an s13.

Yea Like SrJoey said East Bear headlight conversion would be a lot easier and look better than trying to make a pair of 300zx headlights work. I think Jspec.com has two pairs of them. I will also second the thoughts that you should first get the sr running smoothly before adding nitrous.....And wow record deal. What kind of music do you err make umm err sing/ play?

I've seen a picture of an S13 with 300zx headlights.. &nbsp;looked like shit. &nbsp;the headlights are MUCH too wide, and the headlight lines don't match the lines of the body at all.
