I went the classic black and silver lettering wanted to do gold and red lettering but i couldn't find gold engine paint where i went to. either way i think they came out nice :D Now to just put them on :P

You should have waited until you installed them, and then posted pics in the proper thread. This thread is virtually useless as it offers no real new informationto a topic that has been covered before.

my bad and that is why i put
"Well i know this has been covered before but i thought i would post my finished product anyways."
and my finished product being my calipers being painted and the main reason i posted is that i saw a lot of threads without pics so i thought i would post some pics. If u want to close this thread because i didn't post pics of them installed also then feel free to close this thread

Use vasoline on the letters, and the paint will not stick to it. Spray the entire caliper, let it dry and just wipe off the vasoline.

Revat what color gold did you use? (and no not to copy just curious)

I used Duplicolor universal gold high temp engine enamel. It says DE1604 on the cap if that helps. I used that, then i painted the letters with one of those touch up paint pen things of nissan aztec red. Then sprayed over all that with Duplicolor high temp clear.

I did the whole thing (front and rears) with one can of paint, one can of clear, one can of brake cleaner, one touch up paint pen, and a roll of paper towels.

I actually didn't even clear coat mine..well I did at first and it got yellow so I reapainted them w/out the clear. They've lasted years no probs just gotta be delicate when cleaning.

Yellow on black.....

I had them powdercoated black and spray (and hand) painted the letter with yellow high-temp brake caliper paint.

Looks nice....!

I did that custom paint crap on my first set of Z brakes. It looked good at first but since I did black, the brake dust and weathering made them look like ass after about a month.

I put 4 coats on them and they still chipped after about 6 months....bleh.
Next time I'm getting them powder coated....worth the money.

I cant imagine why it wouldnt. everything was cleaned thoroughly prior to paint. I sprayed on who knows how many coats of gold (it was somewhere between 7 and 10 i think) and i sprayed on atleast 3 or 4 coats of the clear. Again, this is all with high temp paint and high temp clear. So unless i went in there and continuously dumped paint thinner on my calipers i dont see this coming off that easily....

oh yeah! well i didnt paint mine! hahahahahaha whos original noW!

polished with shaved nissan emblem FTW!!!
Too much work tho so went with red duplicolor caliper paint on stuff.

The problem with putting clear on calipers is that it turns yellow and looks like ass after a while no matter what. Powdercoating or polishing is the way to go if your really into your calipers looking good.
Just wait an see revat. Not sure if itl be that noticable tho since your calipers are gold.

And I believe BAP import parts has the seals for under $30

ah i see where you're coming from. I thought you meant like the paint was gonna come off or whatever. Anyways, like you said, i doubt it will be that noticeable since the calipers are gold. If they do end up looking reeeeeally crappy, i'll just get them powdercoated. For now though, i cant complain.

I really liked the look of revat619 gold painted calipers. The gold calipers with the red lettering looks a lot like the Brembo calipers found on the 350z Track edition. After seeing revat619 calipers I decided to also paint mine the gold with red lettering. Here is how mine turned out.
