anyway...I was out driving my 240 yesterday practicing shifting and such before i have to take my road test for my license....i pull into this driveway to turn around and start to back...i back up into a ditch front follows rear and takes out a mail box...some scratches and i think thats when front stock lip spoiler cracked (ugly ass thing...) then we pull out of the ditch and at this point my stepdad is driving cause i wanted to make a fast getaway so we go speeding off to my friends house who was kinda close...well we survey the damage...nothing but some stratches and the panel over the B pillar is broken off (but it landed in the car) so we accept this as a good thing and prepair to leave...i get in and back out and hit a speed limit sign...and after that i became really disappointed in myself and now need to do some body work to the Passanger side quarter panel...

I would suggest going to a mall with a great big EMPTY parking lot with no obsticles in it to practice next time.

I think its a subconcious attemt to attack the government. First you try to take out the postal system, then you attack speed limit signs to cause chaos and anarchy so no one knows how fast to drive. Whats next stop signs, food signs on the side of the freeway, gas stations, WALMART?!?!?

No offense here, but when's the last time you went to the eye doctor? It might be a good thought. There's some kind of problem that occurs with eyes that keeps them from focusing quickly enough or something.
Maybe this was just bad luck, but before taking your drivers test you should have an eye exam anyway. It would suck to get there, take their test and then find out you failed. A lot of people don't notice their eyesight going downhill either. I know I had no idea I needed glasses until I took the eye test in drivers ed.
Don't feel bad about it though. Seriously, you're a new driver, and you're going to have experiences like this. Everyone does, some just don't have any physical evidence from them. You were probably just so worked up about the whole thing that you weren't thinking straight. It happens.
Good luck with the repairs. Might I suggest www.car-part.com you can search for any part there, and do the work yourself. It'll save you hundreds. My estimate from my accident (not my fault, but the cop was an ass about it) was about 740 dollars at a shop, but I'm figuring I can fix it myself for about 200-250.

Hmmm... that's... natural. =) Sounds like you might be a little over-confident! I mean no ill when I say this, but please -- make sure you're really ready to be driving on public roads when you go try for your license!!

I waited two years between my permit and license...this is my senior year this year...i'm sure i've waited long enough already... anyway...i simple misjudged width of road vs length of car... the second one...well...that was just proving that you never say it could be worse...cause when it happen i was totally like "... BAKA YAROO!!!"
