Ok to answer a guys question on my last post I was looking into RB's and 2JZ and they are both too expensive installed. Plus I dont like the idea of overweighing my front end on the car. That was another thing I read and found out. I want my car to handle well also, but I was looking for a high hp setup, but this seems like the cheapest most reliable setup. The only thing I dont understand is the cam setups on some of the cars I have been reading and cant quite figure it out. So I would like help w/ that and a few other things.

So far here is what I have to order.

S14 SR20
Weisco Pistons and Rings
Eagle H beam Rods
ARC FMIC
Cheap Turbo.com 400-625whp kit
link: http://cheapturbo.stores.yahoo.net/40pa.html
Walboro Fuel Pump is 255 l/h enough
Blitz injectors is 550cc enough or should I go higher
Cheap Turbo.com Top mount manifold
Link: http://cheapturbo.stores.yahoo.net/nissansr20det.html
I have a KOYO radiator.

Here are the questions.

What kind of intake manifold would work on this. None of the places I have looked have the setups.

I dont know what kind of exhaust I am using but Ill figure that one out myself

I see a lot of people use Brian Crower cams, and have good results but what kind of lift should I have

Please dont flame I have searched and looked at other setups.

Thansk Aaron

The turbo kit comes with a FMIC. So you can save some money there(if you want)
Greddy Intake manifold should work

You should also upgrade your FPR(Fuel Pressure Regulator)
Your ecu will also need an upgrade

You know if you searched the weight up front with a rb is damn near the same as a ka? The weight is placed prodominatly in the center.

For the price of all that stuff is going to be close to the price of a rb25 swapped.

Brian Crower 264 Cams. Have a good amount of lope and still can retain stock valves. (I wouldnt recommend it though.)

I am with ya Mel, if you bought the Subframe Kit for a 2jz or even a 1jz, it distrubutes the wieght pretty damn close. 2jzswap.com.

Well the weight where i read it was like 100 lbs more. Also I am looking at a setup that will have more hp than a stock rb25. I know that with minor work they can reach huge numbers. Also I am going to jus do the swap myself and go have it tuned. I dont think I can do an RB25. So im not bashing it, this way just seems easier. If someone has links to more info on rb setups in S14 in prices I would like to see them.,

Thasnk for all the help Aaron
