I'm trying to start my S13 with S13 SR, and im having a couple issues. The engine would crank and crank but not turn over. We figured out the Walboro wasnt getting any power, so we pulled out the volt meter and test light and weren't getting anything. Pulled the fuel pump relay out, hooked it up to power and ground and it clicked. So relay is good. Put relay back in, and it still doesnt work. We made a jumper cable to act like a relay, connected it to the fuse block in the engine bay, and we get power to the fuel pump. Also before when i was testing, if i put the car in the on position(not started) the powerFC Commander would light up. Now, it does not. Im thinking that these problems are related, and was looking for some help. Fuses seem good in the engine bay, we swaped green relays with no luck, im now just scanning over the loom looking for things we missed. any ideas?
thanks,
bill

Look for shorts and crossed wires. Also make sure all your plugs are tight.
Sounds like you have a short somewhere between the ECU and the relay.
You need to sit down with an FSM and start tracing out all the wires going to the fuel pump relay, or pay somebody per hour for however long it takes.

eccs relay and fuel pump relay wires incorrect. (again)

update, thanks for everyone's help so far. My wiring is good back to the fuel pump. I put in the fuel pump relay, and remove the relay for the ECU (ie EGI) and jump the relay with alittle jumper wire. I get power to powerFC (Commander and datalogit) and the fuel pump primes when putting the key in the on position (as it should) I took out the relay, and tested both of them, and they seem good (they click with power) put the relay back in, no power to relays. any ideas?

Make certain the black/pink feed from the ECU is connected, and the IACV-FICD wire that ties into the black/yellow pump output is also connected.

i have the black/pink wire connected at the ecu, and it's ran to the brown plug to tie into the other harness (near stock battery location) there is continuity between those wires. where is the iacv?

The IACV plug will be on the manifold, 4pins, one is black/yellow and the other is light blue. Check for continuity there as well to the ECU, and to the EGI relay.

it's showing continuity to the ecu on the end pins, which the pin out says both are ECCS grounds. is that correct? i dont see a yellow black going into the sr ecu.

This is odd, I am having the same problem. Did anyone find a solution yet? Thanks

The solution is to jump the relay. but only if you can't find the problem or if your problem is the ecu not triggering the relay.
I suggest a known working ecu or someone that can try your ecu, to see if the relay gets triggered.
If you have a bad relay, just change it!

i pulled the harness and the ecu, and dropped it off at Touge Factory for them to look at and test. Picking it up today. We'll See

Not try to jack the thread but, I tried just running a wire back to the fuel pump and I noticed it came on. I was a little unclear as to what to do to get the fuel pump to come on up front. I saw that you said you jumped a wire at a fuel relay? EGI Relay? EGI Pump? I can perform a honda swap in a couple of hours, but Nissan is new to me. This is my first time messing with one, and I am having some trouble with the same problem. Thanks
