I attempted to do this installation via the guide listed on NICO.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v204/DopefishLives/240sx/gauges/r33_s14_wiring.jpg

However, there are inconsistancies with which plug, what color and the number of wires listed as well as some wires on either end (cluster or car) are not listed at all.

I currently have the following signals connected, according to the guide listed above, I also varified most of them by following the traces on the blue circuit board.

GRND (2 wires)
2P (2 wires)
IGN
FM
T/R
T/L
TM
TAM
ILL + (2 wires)
ILL - (2 wires)

...now the speedometer still does not function, and I cannot figure out why, it doesnt budge at all. Everything else seems to work wonderfully though, that I have wired up. Right now I'm just working on the gauges, the indicator lights will come next. I already adjusted my tach as well for the KA engine but the speedo still ignores me. I am thinking if dicecting my S14 cluster and using my speedo mechanism on the R33 cluster, just in case the R33 one is actually bad. Then just adjust the resistors in back to compensate for 180mph instead of 120mph.

Any ideas on why my speedo still hate me?

Car is a 95' S14 base and cluster is from a 95' R33 GTS-t

Thanks,
_Kris

Here are the inputs I've deciphered as to their purpose.

GRND - Ground (Common grounds)
2P - Speedometer (Input signal, speedometer gauge) [2 WIRES]
BAT - 12v Constant (For S14 in-cluster clock)
IGN - Ignition
FM - Fuel Meter (Input signal for fuel gauge)
CHG - Charge (Indicator, charging/battery issue)
T/R - Turn Right (Indicator, right)
T/L - Turn Left (Indicator left)
TM - Temp Meter (Input signal for coolant temp gauge
BRK - Brake (Indicator, lamp for brake issue/brake lamp failure)
FUEL - Fuel (Indicator, low fuel)
BEAM - Brights (Indicator, high beam headlamps)
TAM - Tachometer (Input signal, tachometer gauge)
BELT - Seatbelt (Indicator, driver seatbelt not secured)
OIL - Oil (Indicator, low oil)
AIRBAG - Airbag (Indicator, restrainsystem complication)
DOOR - Door Ajar (Indicator, open door)
Check ENG - Check Engine (Indicator, ODBI/II complication)
ILL + - Illumination + (Positive voltage for dash lighting circuit) [2 WIRES]
ILL - - Illumination - (Negative voltage for dash lighting circuit) [2 WIRES] {Two specific ground wires}
EXH - Exhaust Overheat (Indicator, abnormal temp of catylst)
OM - Oil Meter (Input signal for oil pressure gauge)
WASH - Washer Fluid (Indicator, low washer fluid)

Still unsure of the purpose behind the Ignition connection... it seems to correlate with the speedometer, which might be part of my issue.

Asside from that, the airbag lamp is constantly illuminated, even though I don't have the airbag indicator wired to the gauges yet... (Possible short somewhere?)

A writeup when you're done would be wonderful. I am looking to do this in my car soon. . .

Edited with pics of them on, they are working great in exception to the speedo and the airbag light issue.

There was actually a GT-R assembly on eBay with the 11k NISMO tach not too long ago, it went for over $300 though. :/ I'm not too fond of white face gauges to be honest anyways, so I'm content with the GTS-T version.

NO FUCKING WAY!!! They dont even show you how to hook up your washer lines on the link he has!!!!! Gheymer :( Sorry man that was the funniest thing on this thread. My bro-in-law is gonna get with his peeps and get you an answer on that but you seem to be going in the first direction I could think of just remember to splice lightly daniel-son  and you get some love added to your reputation the write up would help a lot of peeps out man dont let them stay in the dark.

Try that again in English please.

Try that again in English please.

Yes, please.

That looks sick put into the car. I am doing this for sure. Do the holes line up right with the dash, or does it just squeeze in?

I never updated this and I apologize. There are a couple colors that are the same so you have to be careful when splicing it all together. The airbag light is taken care of after a rewire as was the speedo signal.

I'm having some bodywork done but once I get the car back I'll document the pinouts and which connector they come from to ease the pain of potentially mixing up wires.
