has anyone ever had a headlight switch go bad so that only pass side headlights work(high and fog) on s13 frontend...
Take it out and take the cover off and clean the copper contacts w/ sandpaper or something abrasive.

might not be the switch. it could be a relay

s13 doesnt use relay for the headlamp low/high beam circuit, only for the lift mechanism.
buy a new switch or clean yours. besides, i am sure you've noticed that yours is faded and looks like shit - getting a new one cant hurt.
dont run overwatt bulbs without harness.

Replace with a new switch from your local auto parts store.
If you have the expertise, it is better to draw power to the headlamps through a relay, and use the headlight switch to trigger the relay.
The OEM setup has current going straight through the headlight switch to the bulbs, like the poster above said.
If you have no idea what I'm talking about, don't mess with it, and don't install higher wattage bulbs.

nope...i would have if the old switch looked good...but it was turning grey and looked like shit..so i took it as a chance to make the car look nicer and replaced both the headlight/turnsignal and the wiper switchs....
