Hey I am very interested in doing a 2JZ swap in my S14. I was wondering if anyone knew of any shops in the IL IN area like Chicago that could do this sort of swap? I cant find anything about it. Really anywhere in the country would be considered, just let me know where would do this.

somewhat ot, but there's someone selling a 2jz swapped 240 for cheap on the classifields.

go to sound and performance. from what i know of they did at least a few and are the few in chicago to do that swap. this place is where some of the supra guys go to.

there is a website called 2jz swap.com.. i think i saw it in a mag once.. not to long ago

Andrew does them out of his shop, he did the yellow S13 with 2jz swap and sells the kit for the swap. You can get enough info from the site to get you started, if you want it done at the shop though I have heard of a few people driving their cars up to redding to do the swap. His shop is based in Redding, CA about two hours north of Sac. Just talk to him he's a cool guy.

Shit, you give me a couch to sleep on and a garage to do it in, I will swap it for you, pending money is right. Helped a buddy of mine swap his 2 months ago. Wiring is the hardest part and thats only 6 wires.

You need the following:

2jzswap.com Swap Kit that include, Subframe, Tranny Xmember, Driveshaft.
1jz/2jz Soarer/Aristo Motor with Front Sump Oil Pan
R154 Bell Housing
MK3 Supra Turbo 5spd or Soarer 5 Spd
Shifter Linkage Extended by Andrew at 2jzswap.com
Custom Downpipe and Exhaust
Custom Intercooler Pipes
KA Koyo Radiator
Walbro Fuel Pump
Custon Clutch Line
Harness
Ecu

And I think thats it, I will double check in the morning.

Yeah this yellow s13 hatch was featured in a recent Modified Mag. Pretty sick. they show it putting down about 600 whp....not bad.
