"What Does the Swastika Mean Now?
There is a great debate as to what the swastika means now. For 3,000 years, the swastika meant life and good luck. But because of the Nazis, it has also taken on a meaning of death and hate.
These conflicting meanings are causing problems in today's society. For Buddhists and Hindus, the swastika is a very religious symbol that is commonly used. Chirag Badlani shares a story about one time when he went to make some photocopies of some Hindu Gods for his temple. While standing in line to pay for the photocopies, some people behind him in line noticed that one of the pictures had a swastika. They called him a Nazi.
Unfortunately, the Nazis were so effective at their use of the swastika emblem, that many do not even know any other meaning for the swastika. Can there be two completely opposite meanings for one symbol?"

Am I allowed to call black people negro or further yet the other n word? At times it was acceptable but it currently is not in society. You guys are just trying to ruffle feathers. Swastikas dont even look cool either way though.

i personally do not care about "n word" either. but i got banned for that.
nobody has it in their sig except me. its just me. the point is not to "look cool."
the swastika i typed up? do you mean the clockwise unicode one? that is their team name. its a japanese drift team, im not going to misspell their name. in practice the orientation is not really crucial, the positive and negative connotations are more of a life and death, yin and yang duality. but it is used both ways as a good luck symbol.

No it isn't.
The Nazi party's use of the swastika (it was rotated 45 degrees too!) doesn't mean that swastikas are for hatred or evil.
Read up on the history of the symbol.

Good to see you home Chmercer.
Life in the pen was tough huh?
They got a nigga
Sheddin tears, reminiscin on my past fears
Cause shit was hectic for me last year
It appears that I've been marked for death, my heartless breath
The underlying cause of my arrest, my life is stressed
And no rest forever weary, my eyes stay teary
For all the brothers that are buried in the cemetery
Shit is scary, how black on black crime legendary
But at times unnessecary, I'm gettin worried
Teardrops and closed caskets, the three strikes law is drastic
And certain death for us ghetto bastards
What can we do when we're arrested, but open fire
Life in the pen ain't for me, cause I'd rather die
But don't cry through your despair
I wonder if the Lord still cares, for us niggaz on welfare
And who cares if we survive
The only time they notice a nigga is when he's clutchin on a four - five
My neighborhood ain't the same
Cause all these little babies goin crazy and they sufferin in the game
And I swear it's like a trap
But I ain't given up on the hood, it's all good when I go back
Hoes show me love, niggaz give me props
Forever hop cause it don't stop... on my block

Its the negative history of the German Swastika that brings many to dislike the symbol in general, regardless of its orientation and positive history.
Charlie likes to push the envelope a bit, for statement and/or acceptance. I can handle that, I did it when I was within the 16 to 24 year old demographic. I remember in '98 when a co-worker used the American Airline Sabre messaging system to send jokes with Columbine-like references after it was fresh on everyone's minds. He was escorted off the premises by a police officer due to the sensistive nature of the subject even though his references were not exatcly verbatim.
People inherently overreact due to their ignorance to the subject at hand. I am pretty sure Charlie is aware of that as are many others.

You're right, I'm Buddhist and I'm familiar with the swastika since I was small. My grandma even have a statue of Buddha with a swatika on it.

If you are quoting someone, should it not be listed in the same post and in quotations? That is the correct thing to do. Quote or not, it is still the use of a racial slur...so guess what?
You are getting a warning. Don't let the "quotation" of someone's words allow you to think that it is alright.
