Swordsman Gets Cut

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C — A man toting a 3-foot sword apparently met his match when he broke into his ex-girlfriend's apartment: The woman's roommate grabbed a sword of his own and sliced the intruder, police said.

The roommate, a sword collector, fended off the ex-boyfriend, who was cut on the arm, police said.

Elvis Javier Polanco, 18, was treated at a hospital and charged with burglary and aggravated assault, Beaufort County sheriff's Capt. Toby McSwain said. He said Polanco broke a window and climbed on his friend's shoulders to get into the apartment.

The roommate, Louis Delgado Hernandez, disarmed the intruder while the woman called police, McSwain said.

Swords are awesome. Sword fights, fist fights...clubs, bats, broken bottles.

You know, I got nothin against guns, i aint a gun hater or anything, i'd be happy to shoot someone that broke into my house or threatened a loved one... but I think guns have...ruined the world.

When cavemen fought, the guy with more strength and skill won. Pussies were on the bottom of the food chain, becuz they were pussies.

Now, a scrawny 15 yr old brat that can't get the attention of the girl he likes can grab a gun and inflict massive damage.
Without guns, that same can throw a tantrum...but not get very far cuz he'd quickly get his ass kicked.

Swords make lesser fighters more deadly, but at least it still takes some skills and wield properly. I can appreciate a swordsman.

Kinda like how an EVO can make a weaksauce driver look fast even though he sucks. Driver aids discourage learning.
