Just wondering who has seen the best deal on one piece driveshafts (both steel and aluminum) So far I've been able to get Steel (14lbs) for $325 and Aluminum (11lbs) for $425. Also, Does anyone know anyplace to get it cheaper if you supply the yoke and splines?

Support Zilvia vendors. You're not going to get much cheaper than that unless you're willing to put up with bargain basement service.

Also, I'm not sure if this should go under tech.

try any driveline shop that is local to you, any of them can make it, they are actually not that expensive

Get an aluminum one, unless you're pushing 500+ rwhp. Usually, the cheapest way is to have a custom one made.

I personally would get one from DRIVESHAFT SHOP. Ive seen alot of there stuff their work is top notch and have several friends using their steel or aluminum driveshafts and have been very happy with them.

And you dont have to worry about it Jimbo down at the local tranny shop doing a half-assed job balancing it
