Battery is no longer available, I have decided to go through with the Battery Relocation, as previously planned.

Alrighty, Up for sale is a practically Brand New Optima Red Top Battery. I purchased this for my first 240sx when I came into a little extra money. This battery was used for Three (3) Start ups. I put it in one day during Shop in my Auto Class senior year & used it to drive to school the following day. After that day, the 240 sat in my driveway with a bad clutch. While going to school full time and working part time at Best Buy, the 240 did not move a good amount of time. Well, I wound up parting out that 240 and since the partout, the battery has sat on a shelf in my Garage. The battery also has a practically new 6 Gauge Duralast Negative Ground Cable, used for the same 3 start ups as the Battery was.

Note: The Battery is practically new, it still has it's original Battery Handle/Carrier and the Optima Tag wrapped around the side.

Notice: Battery can be switched to Side Terminal if you so wish to do so. All you need to do is purchase the Side Terminals and screw them in on the side. (See 4th Picture down).

Specs:
Part: SC34U
CA: 800
CCA: 1000
RA: 110

You can contact me at the Instant Messengers that are listed in my header, I am pretty much always logged on. Lately my messengers have been fine, but they were on the fritz for some time. So it would be best to Post, Email, or PM to ensure that I get your message. [email protected] is my Email.

Price is $120.00, $135.00 Shipped. States Only. Battery weighs 38lbs, Shipping to Ca alone is $32.00.

~ Willing to trade for aftermarket parts compatible with a 1991 Ka24De Nissan 240sx Hatchback.

So it's been occasionally charged, or just been sitting there?

When I got the battery, I checked it's output and it was puttin' out 9 volts. I then charged it for 3 hours and installed it in my car the following day. The battery was used for 3 start ups over 2 days. If you take a look in my signature, the battery has been shelved in my garage since the date my first 240 was parted out, so give or take 3 months. The battery is still holding it's charge, it may not be at full 15 volts or so, but the charge is there. I will also be willing to charge the battery before I send it so you can drop it in right away and not have to charge it for a few hours, as I did when I got it.

Wow, 3rd page in less then a day... This is a great item to have if you are planning a Battery Relocation, or if you are going Turbo and have to relocate battery for Intercooler Piping. With the Optima being a sealed Battery, you do not have to purchase an ugly bulky Battery Box or anything of the sort, just need to have a Tie Down and you're good to go.

Who the Fu*k left me negative feedback for "Flaking" on this thread?! WTF?!

This is my own thread and I listed this over a month ago. I decided to keep it after no one was showing intereste & I actually updated this at 1:20 on April 1st to actually show that it was unavailable instead of just abondoning the thread, and then I get listed as a Flake? Makes absolutely no sense.

Murphy, Thanks.
