He is asking if anybody has driven the 335. Not if you would pay that much to buy it.

First model is having problems with the motor overheating, wet floorboard and shit like that. They don't look as good in person as they do in pics. But 300hp twin turbo is nice. Add a tuned ecu and you can easily get more power, however the turbos run out of air after 14psi. Kinda pricey for $45k out the door. Prolly better off buying a g35, 350z, sti or evo for $13k less..

I work at the dealer and drove it a couple of times, it's very nice and quick. 2006, the 325/330..not a whole lot of difference but 2007 328/335 is a day and night difference. I actually like it a bit more than M3 but that's only my opinion.

I've driven it and I think it's a really neat car, coming down to it I'd probably pick up an E46 M3 over it though... about the same in quickness/speed but I much prefer the ride/looks/noise of the M3.

They look sexy as hell in pictures and in real life, but being that this is BMW's first turbo motor in a long while I would wait a few years until after all the design flaws unravel and are all fixed.

Neighbor has the TT. Pop the hood and you'll walk away. 10lbs in a 5lb box.

a friend has one, his is the four door, i had no idea it was a four door, i thought only the 2door was 335. the 2 door looks great, he hasnt had any problems, and his shit is fast he just got it chipped, and he is makin 350 ish to the wheels, and 410 torque.
the car is a total sleeper, faster than the m3 and alot of the other cars out there.
doesnt feel like a turbo car at all, has 2 tiny mitsubishi turbos.

It was boring. No peak power is no fun. Its a super good cruiser car which is what its suppose to be but I hate BMW reliablity

Yeah ^^^bmw reliablilty BLOWS

I drive the 335's all the time (We have a shitload of them on our lot all the time)

They are definetely fun, but barely feel faster then the 330's. The handling is amazing though. Driving them around vegas is a ton of fun. Fun, but they are wayyyyy overpriced.

If you have 40k+ to spend on a car, and are set on a bmw, get the E39 M5. Or even the E36 M3, and then you'll have well over 20k left over.

Felt quite a bit faster than my Mom's 06 330i and about the same as my best friend's 02 M3 :ugh: Not really overpriced, they have a great interior, decently quick, good looks, and they're a BMW.

Oh, and 40k set on a BMW isn't going to be looking at an E36... at all. 40k is damn good condition E46 M3 territory, they're starting to dip into the high 20's.

FWIW, I've got seat time in a 96 M3, 98 M3, 00 540i, 02 X5, 02 M3, 05 M3, 06 330i, 06 M5, and 07 M Coupe. My family sorta likes BMWs :hs: Only problem vehicle was the X5 and those issues started after it was rear ended, so I can't really fault BMW for it. The others have been dead reliable with proper preventative maintenance and recall items.

Allow to revise myself. Interior quality. My friends 04 330 something coupe sport one, his shit was falling apart in 2006. He got pissed enough to sell it. For the most part everything that goes wrong(if it does) is taken care of by the dealership and warranty. Just quality of the cars is sinkin.

haha, oh shit, i meant E46. lol. Yeah E36's are like 10-15k range. I fucked up.

E36's are still rad though.

I agree, I loved the two I drove and I'm really thinking about picking one up. A yellow 98 got away from me earlier this year. :(

Had a bunch of small issues and was a little overpriced but god I fell in love with it.

ya my friend got a 2006 330 and its already having problems. BMW has slipped in the last couple of years on quality in my opinion.
The two dope ass models in my opinion were the 740I and the M5.
That and a E30 M3 and a E36 M3

E30 FTW!!!!

I love the 335 though. I didn't like it at all in the pics, but I have seen a few on the road, and they're awesome! I want to go test drive one.

I'd rather have an M coupe.

Here at bmw, we could have just finally got rid of the idea of building sub 3.5L inline 6 engines due to packaging issues (4' long engines tilted at 35 degrees taking up the whole engine bay making service practically impossible) but since we have a phobia of V engines, instead we thought. "If this one part could work. Why not replace it with computer controlled electro assisted hydro actuated 10 piece assembly and then add twin turbos!!" Brilliant!!

I'd wait a year or two for the bugs to be sorted out with this one. Last thing I want is iDrive telling me my turbo is flat and to seek nearest service station but my wheels are at fine at 7lbs. Hopefully this time they won't self adjust the clutch. Another brilliant idea for a problem that didn't need to be fixed.

if you get sports and premium pack u'll looking at around 45, 46 for a 335ci
IS350 loaded at around 42 43 which one would u rather get?
IMO the IS350 doesn't excite me all that much and in the forums most people complain about the handling
:(
This is a good forum to ask because everyone is neutral....u go to a lexus forum eveyone is pro-lexus and bmw they are pro-bmw

I like it. I like it a lot. I wouldn't mind having one either. As far as it being "pricey", it IS a bimmer :duh: .

and as an added bonus, if you wait a few years, it'll lose half its value. new euro "luxury" cars are such a waste..

For current European sports coupes I'll take a Mercedes over a BMW anyday. Get a bluetec and then chip it. Heck yeah!
