Been painting my rims, took it for a spin yesterday, tried to start it today and nothing would work; locks, lights, nothing. The alarms been sounding funny for the past 2 days or so and today it went off and it sounded really weird like it was dying. Batterie's barely 2 months old I think, I put in a brand new one before I bought it. So what would cause the battery to be drained by now? Or if its not that what could it be?

Edit: Batteries dead, pretty sure alarms got something to do with it. I got a python model 1000esp, anyone know how I can disconnect it? Looked at the installation guide and I dunno where to start, just want it to be as if it were never installed. Or where could I take it to have the entire sytem removed? Thanks in advance.

Get a multimeter.
Check all power sources. and grounds.
Its also a possibility that your alarm is draining your battery as well.

Installation time of a "new" battery has nothing to do with the battery's performance. It could have been sitting on a shelf for months before you bought it.
Always fully charge a battery before installing.
You may have a bad battery, bad alternator, or voltage leak. Take it to a shop if you don't know how to check.

Bad ground to the alternator. Bad wire connections positive and negative. Bad ground in the rear if battery is relocated to the trunk. Need a little more information on the engine and battery setup. Yup check your battery with a multimeter to see if its charging when running. Good luck.

If you run all these checks and figure out the battery is dead, it will usually have a serial number on the battery and you can check to see if the battery you bought has been sitting there. Show it to the store and get a new one...or money back.
