I just picked up a Curcuit Sport 5lug for my s13 hatch. The hubs were a good deal so I picked them up. My issue now is that I have to take out the old rear wheel bearings and press them into the new spindles. I was told by some that you can't reuse the wheel bearings like that. What do you guys think? And how hard is it to swap wheel bearings?

when i swapped my s14 from 4- to 5-lug i bought new oem hubs and bearings from superior. I had the rear hubs pressed in to the bearings for a small fee at a local machine shop. so having them pressed in isn't that bad.
think about it, your car has at least 80-90k miles on it, and probably alot more. depending on how it was driven, thats a lot of use on those bearings. i'd say better be safe than sorry and get new bearings.

ehh...you first have to press out the bearing and then get a bearing splitter to get the 2nd piece off. you can use the old bearing on the cs unit, but i wouldnt really recommend it. i personally just bought new bearings

oh ok. Thanks guys. I guess new bearings it is. The front spindles and what not don't require me to swap any sort of hubs. It's just the rears. I hear the fronts are cake. Just a little worried about the rears.
i'm pretty sure you will have to swap out hubs, b/c thats what you're replacing.
or maybe i'm wrong.
shit, i hate cars
