I have a ? my 95 is 4 lug, I am gonna do the 5 lug conversion down the road, but I will have to buy rims at the same time(cuz new lug setup). But until then I kinda what to get rid of the shitty lookin stock rims. So, is there any rims that have a universal lug setup (the ones with a bunch of holes and stuff..) that would fit both the 4 AND the 5 lug setup? or should i just stick it out until I do the swap and look for some Z rims for cheap??

If you find wheels you like in 4-lug, why switch to the 5-lug? I fail to see the reasoning here.

White240sx - I am not really looking for a rim that I am gonna stick with, and it seems that there is a better selection of rims in 5-lug. I an just looking for something that will be better than the ugly ass stock rims, something cheap and simple. Like some 16x7s or something. I dont even care if They dont look that hot, ANYTHING is better than what i have right now. But it seems that the best way to go is to just stick it out and get rims when I go 5 lug.

I did alot of looking into the 5-lug conversion versus sticking with the 4-lugs.
Remember most civics and integras (lower models of both) are 4 lugs. There are alot of nice rims out there in a 4 lug, you just have to look around alot.
The only other reason to go 5 lug is brake upgrades. PDM racing (http://www.pdm-racing.com/products/brakesz32.html) will predrill aftermarket 300zx rotors to fit a 4 lug. Check them out.
On top of those facts, i had alot of trouble finding a 5-lug hub replacement or a wrecked s14 SE or LE to steal them from.

found the kosei pina f1's for $50 a piece new, 16x7.5 , too bad only 3 rims left .

They were 4x114.3 and 5x114.3. I guess you just have too look around until you find a good deal.

well..if you aren't looking for rims that you'll keep forever...and just want a universal that is better then ugly stock, try sears. Yes, sears. they sell universal wheels that are less then hideous and usually dirt cheap.

I'm just wondering why they need to be 9-hole wheels though. Why do they need to be able to fit the 5-lug pattern if you are getting different wheels for the 5-lug set-up as it is?

Which wheels do you have now? The steelies or the mesh looking/G20 type alloy? You can pull your wheel covers and clean off the black steels, they won’t look half bad if getting rid of the wheel covers is the goal.

yup, you said it Nismo. I have the ghetto mesh type i guess you could say. And I would change rims right away if I got some OK lookin universal ones. I think it would just be a nice quick fix for the "looks" department and when I do the swap it wont be a problem getting differnt rims cuz they will still fit.

Try Racing Hart wheels. Most has both 4 and 5 lug set up.
